The documentation is close for command line options but probably far behind for drivers. > And a side note for PHK. Could you change the rm -f /usr/sbin/xntpd > to instead replace /usr/sbin/xntpd with a LINK to ntpd for maximal I discussed that with Poul-Henning, Peter and David. I do not think that it is a good idea because: - there are many differences between the two. - if you don't use a refclock driver (the majority I think), there are few chances that you overwrote what's in /etc/defaults/rc.conf which means that conversion from xntpd to ntpd was immediate. - if you do have a refclock driver, you'll need to read the documentation and pointing to xntpd manpages won't help you. I prefer a clean break like we have. I only kept the old manpages (i.e. didn't delete them as I did for the binary) because we have a lack in this area. As soon as I get some time, I'll work with Sheldon who offered to merge the new documentation with the old manpages. As a stop-gap, I'll put ASCII generated versions in /usr/share/doc/ntp. > compatibility. You should probably also do an MLINK for ntpd->xntpd > man pages. I don't want to point to obsolete documentation.
