Sounds reasonable.  Did you read the instructions?

It sounds like your BIOS disk setup may be wrong.  Can you install DOS 
on this system?

Ok, so prettymuch everything else works OK.  You can salvage this 
prettymuch without having to download.  The command above is wrong 
though, that should be 

0:wd(0,a)kernel

(Why did you select 'C'?)
