Are there perl scripts, or other documentation available for retrieving 
wais stored information?  I can index my mail, and use waissearch from 
the freewais package, but I can't connect from Netscape.

Could I have it use gophers port 70?

I would take this to be like the mail archives for the freebsd lists, but 
don't see examples in /usr/share/examples.
