That would be around Sept. 92, and the patchkit was started by Terry
Lambert.  I was just one of the fools who tried to do something similar
and ended up using Terry's tools.  Not so important dates:

pk 0.1 - Terry
pk 0.2 - Dec. 93 - Nate
pk 0.2.1 - Jan. 93 - Nate
pk 0.2.2 - Jordan
pk 0.2.3 - Rod/Jordan
pk 0.2.4 - Rod
