Well, I got the gnomeupdate.diff patch working last night.  The
difference for me was using "pkg_delete -fr ORBit*"--the "-r" switch
doesn't appear to deinstall a port (at least on -STABLE) unless the port
has nothing dependent on it--definitely NOT the case with ORBit.
