Nope.  The closest thing to an error in "raidutil -d 0 -L all" is a "No
battery" message.  It wouldn't surprise me if the thing has never had a
battery.

BTW, I forgot to mention the controller model in my original message.  I
have no excuse.  It's an Adaptec 2000S.
