If so, go here: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/ports/ports.tar.gz untar it to your /usr directory, and you'll have a only slightly out-of-sync ports tree. or.... you could attempt to tell cvsup to use alternate ports.
