You can install linux emulation via the ports, /usr/ports/emulators/linux_base that will give you a Red Hat-like linux environment in /compat/linux. You'd also need a kernel compatibility module, or a kernel compiled with the option LINUX. I don't know whether StarOffice will work out of the box. Quite likely will. R.
