I am trying to install -CURRENT (2 days old) on a 12" Powerbook G4 over ethernet. The installing server is NetBSD. First try: 0 > boot enet:,loader CLIENT: {MAC} 192.168.1.10 SERVER: fffffffffff 0.0.0.0 Transfer FILE: loader - TFTP LOAD TimeOutload-size=200 adler32=e97f8114 Loading ELF Invalid memory access at %SRR0: 01c009d0 %SRR1: 00083030 ok > 2nd try: 0 > boot enet:,loader hd:58 CLIENT: {MAC} 192.168.1.10 SERVER: fffffffffff 0.0.0.0 Transfer FILE: loader - TFTP LOAD TimeOutload-size=200 adler32=e97f8114 Loading ELF Decrementer exception at %SRR0: 01c009d0 %SRR1: 00083030 ok > I have the same loader on Powerbook's first (HFS) partition. 0 > boot hd:loader hd:58 gets me to memmap. I'm trying a netboot because the Powerbook's SuperDrive is dead. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
