	Perhaps there are problems with the Dell hw and the i815 chipset
	and pcm.  I have the same chipset on my newest system, and both
	the video and audio work well.  ((It *was* a chore to get 
	everything configured, tho.))

	At least a couple others have installed 4.4 on a Dell with the
	i815e, I believe.  Check the archives and see.
