I am installing a FreeBSD 2.2.2 release on a Pentium PC with a D-Link
DFE-500TX fast ethernet network adapter (10/100 Mbit/s, chip set DEC
DC21140AC, driver de#).

At the startup the system recognize the adapter. This is the message:

I can configure the driver with ifconfig:

but I can't transmit or receive and the kernel display the error
message:

    de0: transmission timeout
