Put the following in ~/.mailcap: text/html; lynx -force_html -dump %s ; copiousoutput ; test=test -z "$LYNX_VERSION" The test= is to keep lynx from using that line recursively to launch itself on regular web pages. If you also put the following in ~/.muttrc: auto_view text/html Mutt will display the HTML document inline as though it were a regular text message.
