            Bug ID: 272861
           Summary: graphics/spectacle: unexpected quits =E2=80=93 =E2=98=
=91 Quit after
                    manual save or copy
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: kde@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: grahamperrin@gmail.com
             Flags: maintainer-feedback?(kde@FreeBSD.org)
          Assignee: kde@FreeBSD.org

Steps:=20

 1. open Spectacle

 2. observe =E2=98=91 Quit after manual save or copy (the checkbox, checked)

 3. disable the feature (click to clear the check from the box)

 4. take a screenshot

 5. log out from Plasma

 6. reuse SDDM to log in

 7. open Spectacle

Expected:=20

 8. =E2=98=90 Quit after manual save or copy (disabled)

Actual result:=20

 8. =E2=98=91 Quit after manual save or copy (re-enabled)

 9. take a screenshot

10. save or copy

11. unwanted, unexpected quit (the bug's effect at step 8 is very easily=20
    overlooked).

Reproducibility
---------------

Please: can anyone else reproduce this bug?=20

For me, it's probably consistently reproducible.=20

Thoughts
--------

>From a UX perspective: it does feel regressive =E2=80=93 unexpected quits, =
following a
recent upgrade. I'll not apply the regression keyword, because as far as I =
can
tell: this is, essentially, a bug with, or affecting, a new feature.=20

A minor but frequent annoyance, however
<https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=3DSpectacle+quit>; there's no
upstream report, so I assume a bug in (or affecting) the ports tree.
