Re these strange problems, it might be that I told the RealAudio site that I was doing ISDN at 56K. (??) Doesn't seem all that logical, but when the binary auto-installed it was set for 56Kbps. Actuallly my link is 144Kbps. So... it shouldn't be too slow. When II listen to NPR's hourly news, the sound is vastly better.
