And what?  Or is that explicitly "and nothing"?  Did you have a partial 
dump?  It's quite convinced that there is a dump in your swap area; 
it's established that the dump magic number is at the right offset, but 
almost everything else is bogus.

I can't see how this would be related to changing the root device.  8(  
Is it consistent, or just a once-off?
