      I want to use usb flash disk to boot Freebsd 4.6 re. I had fdisk and disklabel the disk ,and i can mount it . I had cp kernel to the disk. but when i use the flash to boot systing .I can see boot loader had running and promft F1 bsd F5 other. when I use ad(0,a )/kernel to boot harddisk's kernel .the system is running ok! but i use da(0,a)/kernel to boot flash's kernel .the system is halt! why? it is a bug?
