I have read the FAQ and added the following to my kernel config: controller ppbus0 device ppc0 at isa? port? net irq 7 controller vpo0 at ppbus? controller scbus0 at vpo0 #base SCSI code device da0 #SCSI direct access devices (aka disks) I get the follwing in dmesg on boot: ppc0 at 0x378 irq 7 on isa ppc0: SMC-like chipset (ECP/EPP/PS2/NIBBLE) in COMPATIBLE mode ppc0: FIFO with 16/16/7 bytes threshold lpt0: <generic printer> on ppbus 0 lpt0: Interrupt-driven port ppi0: <generic parallel i/o> on ppbus 0 imm0: <Iomega Matchmaker Parallel to SCSI interface> on ppbus 0 imm0: EPP 1.9 mode Followed by: vpo0: VP0 error/timeout (3) vpo0: VP0 error/timeout (3) Repeated several times. When I try to: mount -tmsdos /dev/da0s4 /mnt I get: msdos: /dev/da0s4: Device not configured Could someone please give me some sugestions as to what to try next? -- Stan Brown stanb@netcom.com 404-996-6955 Factory Automation Systems Atlanta Ga. -- Look, look, see Windows 95.
