The first issue to solve is to get the Linux JDK up and running. I.e. typing
"java -version" at the prompt should not give you any errors. Once that is
done you can retry the JDK build.

I am not sure, to be honest. It's hard to tell from here. Try to use kldstat
to see if the Linux kernel module is loaded or not.

Does the box have X11 installed?

Do you have another machine to test this on?

I hate to give you a Windows--type solution, but perhaps you should remove
the linux_base and related ports and the linux JDK and reinstall those.

I vaguely remember that there were issues with the linuxulator prior to
version 6.1. Search the mailing list archives for the error message you get,
and see if anything compes up. http://www.geocrawler.com/
