I've been using rl(4) on 6-CURRENT for about a year now without problems. I've had it working with/without polling, and with/without all the mpsafe* sysctls enabled. The only problems I've had with it were the odd oversized frame being dropped requiring a reset of the interface. This is on a Toshiba A60 laptop with an onboard RealTek 8139C NIC. Haven't tried with an SMP system (those all have 3Com or Intel NICs). -- Freddie Cash, CCNT CCLP Helpdesk / Network Support Tech.
