Reply to:Greg Martin<gregm@netidea.com> Subject: locate and whereis locate: database too small: /var/db/locate.database I've just installed 2.2.8 and find I can't use locate or whereis. I initially updated from 2.2.6 and then tried a fresh install. I'm still getting familiar with the lay of the land and find locate awfully handy. whereis gives me this but also sometimes returns some locations. Can't exec "/usr/sbin/sysctl -n user.cs_path": No such file or directory at /usr/bin/whereis line 99 tif and regards, Greg Martin To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
