For instance: $ ls /myvolume/.zfs ls: snapshot: Bad file descriptor shares For me, I have had success manually mounting the snapshot. Adding this advi= ce in case others like me hit this issue, as the "manual mount" option does not seem to be well-documented - no reference to ZFS in mount(8) or nmount(2), = for instance.
