It has 122 Megs or so, depending on the program that is looking at the drive. Currently, I have two hard drives, which I change back and forth, depending on whether or not I want to boot with MS-DOS/LINUX or FreeBSD. Saturday and Sunday, I used the following command: /stand/mount_msdos /dev/fd0 /mnt and was able to read and copy files from several MS-DOS formatted disks. Yesterday, Monday, I tried to use the same command on the same disks, and received the error message: fd0c: Hard error reading fsbn 0 (ST0 40 ST1 1 ST2 0 cyl 0 hd sec 1) mount: msdos: Input/output error I tried again this morning with newly-formatted floppy disks, the previous crop, and still have received the same message. I reinstalled the system by booting from the floppy drive, and then the command worked. Twice. Then I started getting the same error message again. What gives? What do I have to change/modify?
