Yes, I get this too (just this second).  Strangly enough I appear to
have some libGLU's installed though, unless portupgrade removed them during

    /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.a
    /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.so@ -> libGLU.so.1
    /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.so.1*
    /usr/X11R6/lib/libMesaGLU.so@ -> /usr/X11R6/lib/libGLU.so
