The computer is a Dell Inspiron 5100 (2.8 GHz) with 512 M RAM and an ATI Radeon display card. Xorg 7.2's radeon driver worked without a hitch. Not so with 7.3. I have the following video artifacts: 1) a 10-15 pixel wide vertical line running right through the middle of the GNOME icon on the upper panel to the bottom of the screen. 2) a "shimmering" effect particularly evident arount all fonts (pixels appear to "move" clockwise around all fonts). 3) images have reduced sharpness. >How-To-Repeat: n/a >Fix: Workaround is to switch to VESA driver for now (which works perfectly if slightly slower). >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
