        Put A Web Server In Your Applications (PAWS)
           (an embeddable Web server library)

The idea is very simple. Let's take a minimal Web server, (few
hundreds lines of C), link it with an application, some HTML pages and
do what it needs to convert URL pathnames into procedure calls.

You obtain a smart application that starts a Web server on a local
communication port when it is executed. Any Web browser can connect
this application, and access some internal data, control the
execution, view information pages, etc.
