You download the source files. If you want the binary you either need to compile the source or download the package from the freebsd site. download ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/packages/www/apache-1.3.6.tgz and then do a pkg_add -v apache-1.3.6.tgz this will install the packaged binary for apache. If your interested in compiling apache email me back and I will send you more detailed instructions.
