As far as I remember, last time this was discussed, nobody was able to offer any evidence of 4:1 actually causing problems -- there were only anecdotal accounts, just like this time... I don't mean to say the problems don't exist (or that I object to this particular commit), but wish to point out, that whoever experiences them should submit the evidence neccessary to fix them.
