One should only have to take the time to go to diffs if you are interested in the details of the commit. I find log messages such as "Braino", or "Grrr", or similar without any other clarification very annoying because it usually means I have to resort to cvsweb to see what the change actually was. This turns the 2 seconds that it would have taken to read and comprehend the log message into 20 times that long to find out the same information. Very annoying indeed.
