WIth the previous posts of this thread maybe someone who is close to the committing people could mintain a simple webpage to keep us upto date on want is in PAO and what from PAO has been merged to release. In the working page the PAO side should shrink and the RELEASE side should blossum. I would gladly offer some assistance in this and if anyone has the time I would love to see if my laptop can get out from under PAO by sending you my dmesg output ;-).
