Here's the problem: This looks suspiciously like the result of not having picked up a change to telnet which I committed on Friday night US time (along with the rest of the KAME code). This seems to correlate with your cvsup time - did you perhaps cvsup during my commit window when I asked people not to? ;-) You should have revision 1.21.2.1 of usr.bin/telnet/commands.c - please confirm ASAP whether this is the case.
