Please check those to figure out which details to > give, and hopefully we'll be better able to help on another attempt. I've updated the BIOS on the 2940UW, from v1.21, to the latest v2.20. The CD now boots. In fact the older version of the CD boots also. Problem solved. Just wierd that FBSD wouldn't boot, whereas Win98 and Redhat 6.1 would. Surely some minor problem with the CD, still?
