I edited /etc/sysctl.conf and added this line: hw.atamodes=pio,pio,pio,pio You can check your dma settings with "sysctl -a hw.atamodes". /M@ds -- I give 100% at work: 12% Monday, 22% Tuesday, 38% Wednesday, 23% Thursday and 5% on Friday.
