Hello, I'm experiencing a series of problems while trying to compile icu-3.6. I have the following: FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE-p1 gcc 3.4.4 and gcc 4.2 glib-2.12.4 compiled without collation fix Upon compiling the port I got the classic "page already free" error message. I've looked it up on this mailling list and on google and have followed several guidelines pointed out by other people: 1. upgrading /recompiling glib without collation fix 2. upgrading compiler to gcc-4.1 or 4.2 By installing gcc-4.2 and using it to compile icu-3.6 I now obtain: /libexec/ld-elf.so.1: ./iotest: Undefined symbol "_ZNSo9_M_insertEPKci" *** Error code 1 Is there any way to fix this ? I don't know what else to try. Is this a bug ? Thanks, Mihai
