I keep getting a message stating that the device is not configured!! furthermore my soundcard isn't working right when it should be!! I've also attached my dmesg and kernel config. BTW, I'm currnetly using 5.0-CURRENT as of last night (BUT THAT ISN't the cause of this so plz.. DON'T TELL ME IT IS without a decent explaination!!!) I've also tried this in 4.0 and 3.4. I'm using an ESS 1869 pnp (with the sbc sound adapter). Also, I'm running Xfree86 3.3.6 which I've had some issues with in the past (could this be the cause?). below is my dmesg and Kernel thanks -Cosmic-665 P.S. is there a newsgroup for -CURRNET?? what is the address?? here's my dmesg; Copyright (c) 1992-2000 The FreeBSD Project.
