There was some notion of trying to incorporate it with the existing SES/SAFTE driver, for example. But then that foundered on the issue of CAM not supporting ATAPI yet. I believe Soren has a more definitive answer than this tho. Actually, hackers is where more of the bleeding wedge stuff is.
