You are connecting TO a 2.2.2 machine? I can't get that to work either with a config that worked before. It (ppp on the 2.2.2 side) falls down with an error about an inappropriate ioctl, according to ktrace (TIOCMGET on a modem, when I'm using stdin and stdout...) Mark
