https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D265388 Bug ID: 265388 Summary: security/fprintd: Doesn't build and upstream now depends on systemd Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: t.weustink@outlook.com Created attachment 235431 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D235431&action= =3Dedit Log file or build failure security/fprintd doesn't build anymore because of multiple warning, and aft= er checking upstream (thanks to diizzy) I found that they depend on systemd no= w, and have no intention of supporting non-systemd OS's [1]. The current version in ports is v0.8.1 where upstream is at v1.94.2 which w= ill break even more [2]. Right now, in my opinion, it might as well be removed from ports. This would also go for the following two ports: security/libfprint security/fprint_demo 1. https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libfprint/fprintd/-/issues/41 2. https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/libfprint/fprintd/-/tags --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
