Good job guys, I installed FreeBSD 4.5-R from CD yesterday, CVSup'd to -stable last night, and made the world this morning. All the hardware is recognized and functioning except for the 1394 controller, which FreeBSD has no driver for currently, and the 3Com Mini-PCI winmodem, which also lacks a driver. This was fully expected and completely unsurprising. The only real down is the GeForce2GO isn't yet supported in XFree86, which isn't FreeBSD's fault either, just another data point. It looks like the IR port is recognized as sio1, which was a pleasant surprise, as I didn't expect it to work.
