Here are the details of the first board to support the new architecture: http://developer.intel.com/design/wrkstn/MS440gx/index.htm It is a fairly nice 2-way SMP board w/ 5 PCI slots + 1 AGP, supporting up to 2GB DRAM. Their new bus handles up to 800MB/sec between CPUS and caches. Also has integrated Crystal Audio, and EtherExpress Pro 100Mbit ethernet. Prices and availability to follow.
