Tauthon built/installed as a BUILD/RUN DEPENDS but not having: USES=3D tauthon:2.8 and USE_TAUTHON=3D autoplist distutils available. The port failed to build. So. Failing those. It's going to be a bit more complicated than a simple drop-in.
