SNDFILE_DESC wasn't in b.o.d.m when I put the original commit patch
together and it slipped my mind to check again to see if it had been
subsequently added when I finalised the patch recently. This can be
removed from the port Makefile upon its next update.

As for the THREADS_DESC, I'm quite happy to for the more explicit
description to be used in this port rather than the very generic b.o.d.m
description.
