After the much repeated suggestion to 'dump the floppy tape drive', I am looking for a SCSI tape for backup purposes. I have reviewed the list of 'drives in use' by FreeBSD users, and I have another question. Is anyone using a Travan drive with FreeBSD? I am currently on v2.1.7, waiting for my C (CD) to upgrade. I am wondering about drives along the lines of HP's Colorado T4000 and Seagate's TapeStor 8000. both are external SCSI (since we will be changing machines at least two more times by summer's end). thanks for any experience! -scott
