Hey Everyone, I just installed freeBSD for the first time since 1998. I picked the 'moderate' security level for the install. Upon completion I did some scanning and noticed that I have a few services running that I don't need / don't know what they are. 111/tcp open sunrpc 587/tcp open submission 1022/tcp open unknown 1023/tcp open unknown I am familiar with sunrpc and know I don't need it. I don't know what submission and the two unknown ports are. If anyone could help me out and point me to some docs about how these startup (so I can turn them down) that would be great!
