Date: Tue, 29 Sep 1998 15:04:57 -0700 Message-ID: <18823.907106697@time.cdrom.com> From: "Jordan K. Hubbard" Sender: owner-freebsd-current@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Folks may want to be extra diligent about grabbing this release because ftp.freebsd.org is also scheduled for some serious downtime (to completely upgrade the storage subsystem) on Wednesday, Sept. 30th and possibly some portion of Thursday, Oct 1st. If you don't grab it now, you may have to wait until Friday. Mirror sites should also be sure to grab: ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/FreeBSD-current/XF86332/ since that contains the "new style" XFree86 3.3.2.3 release (ELF) which the BETA snapshot references. All major installation bogons noted in previous BETAs have been fixed with this one so I'm especially interested in hearing of any further types of installation problems.
