I'd like it to be added to 5.2's TODO list. I haven't tested the system without ACPI. First, as I say, because the panic is difficult to reproduce. Second, because it didn't happen three months ago, so it's unlikely to be a bug in my computer's ACPI, but a bug in code. Therefore, it should be fixed, not masked. This time I don't have a full backtrace because I had just compiled a new kernel. Anyone knows how do I get kernel.debug installed right along all the rest of the stuff? :-( I don't know what the computer was doing, exactly, at the time. I was running a full system upgrade.
