Why must you run -CURRENT? 2. Did you "make build|install kernel|world" after the cvsup? If everything was successful, then you simply have to shift your base from freebsd-question to freebsd-current mailing list! A better advise for you: There is 5.3-BETA1 out there on the ftp servers. Wipe clean your drive, get this BETA and install it. You can then ask questions related to it on this list. -Wash http://www.netmeister.org/news/learn2quote.html -- +======================================================================+ |\ _,,,---,,_ | Odhiambo Washington Zzz /,`.-'`' -. ;-;;,_ | Wananchi Online Ltd. www.wananchi.com |,4- ) )-,_. ,\ ( `'-'| Tel: +254 20 313985-9 +254 20 313922 '---''(_/--' `-'\_) | GSM: +254 722 743223 +254 733 744121 +======================================================================+ That woman speaks eight languages and can't say "no" in any of them. -- Dorothy Parker
