https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D212431 Bug ID: 212431 Summary: www/firefox: Fix build with libc++ 3.9.0 Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: gecko@FreeBSD.org Reporter: dim@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(gecko@FreeBSD.org) Assignee: gecko@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 174439 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D174439&action= =3Dedit Patch for mozilla bug 1245076 While testing the clang390-import branch, I ran into issues building Firefo= x, which manifest as: /usr/work/share/dim/ports/www/firefox/work/firefox-47.0.1/obj-i386-portbld-= freebsd12.0/dist/include/mozilla/mozalloc.h:184:33: error: no type named 'bad_alloc' in namespace 'std' void* operator new(size_t size) MOZALLOC_THROW_BAD_ALLOC ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jan Beich already reported this in upstream bug 1269171 [1], and it is caus= ed by the way the Firefox build generates its standard library wrapper headers. To properly fix this, we need to import the fixes for both upstream bug 124= 5076 [2] and bug 1269171 [1]. I also had to commit an additional workaround for= it in the clang390-import branch, r305496 [3].
