Just for reference:

I my build of head -r333594 ( WITHOUT_LIB32=3D ) used on a PowerMac G5
so-called "Quad Core" has been building ports just fine, including
the likes of lang/llvm60 and devel/powerpc64-gcc so far. (Builds
still going.)
