I just want to suggest one new thing about MASTER_SITES variable. Namely, many countries have ftp.??.freebsd.org mirrors. And very often it would be better to try to fetch distrubition tarball from ftp.??.freebsd.org mirror (from ...../distfiles directory) and then, if either such a mirror or a file doesn't exist, try to follow the current behavior. This can save a lot of time when building a new port without changing Makefile of the port. --Dima To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
