If you're using -auto mode, you can't ``set ifaddr 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0'', 
but you can add an additional two arguments to force ppp to ask the 
peer for 0.0.0.0:

  set ifaddr 1.1.1.1/0 2.2.2.2/0 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0
